Going Nuts

So we've been home since Saturday and boy are we having so much fun.  I'm not going back to work until Saturday so it has been an enjoyable time off so far.  Although it has been enjoyable to be home with Brooke and Landri I don't know how people can stay home for a living.

I'm about to go crazy just sitting here watching tv and and napping.  I would love to survey people and ask him what in the world they do to pass their time.  Afternoon tv sucks, there is absolutely nothing on, on any channel.  The amazing thing about this is that we have the ultimate cable package with all the regular channels plus the sports channels and movie channels. But little does anyone know when they sign up for this package that there is nothing on in the middle of the afternoon.

One can only take so many naps before they do nothing but make you feel terrible.  I took one on Monday and somehow it made the day go longer.  It also made me feel worse then I did before the nap.  Didn't take one yesterday because I was lucky enough to have to go to the bank and the post office.  Oh and I also got to cut the grass which was awesome.  Then we took Landri on her first trip to my mom and dad's house.  She seemed to really enjoy it she was awake the whole time we were there which was real good  because she had been sleeping all day.  We took Landri to the Doctor early this morning and when I got home I edged the side walks and then napped.  I have no clue why I felt I needed this my drive way isn't very big at all. This is just way too much for me to handle.

I have decided that the TV situation is the government's way of trying to get people out to work.  I know that this is the scheme because there is no way that these broadcasting companies could possibly think that this is good programming.  The only shows that come on in the middle of the afternoon are shows that have been cancelled because they were bad when they were originally on.  I think that this master plan that the government has come up with is a good idea but maybe they need to make the programming a little worse if that's possible and this could lead to lower unemployment rates.  The people that are ok with staying home and watching TV and napping have become immune to this lame schedule so we need worse programming to try and flush them out of their houses.

As much as I love to sit here with my wife and new daughter I am excited to get back to work.  I think I need the real world to keep my sanity .
